It depends on the job. Repairs are typically done on an hourly rate. Recaps and restorations are flat rate, depending on the scope of work that you’d like done. I try to be as upfront with my pricing as possible but sometimes it’s hard to give you a quote until I isolate the issue.

Currently, I’m on a several weeks backlog before I can take on new work. Timelines after that depend on the scope of work needed.

Yes, I have most components needed for vintage audio repair in stock, as well as recap/rebuild kits for many units. I can also put together custom kits for you. While the store is being built out, you can find parts at https://www.ebay.com/str/clashcityaudio

No. I choose to not maintain a storefront for several reasons. Many storefront shops have to do a large volume in business to maintain the location including rent, utilities, salaries and the like. To afford this requires them to do high-turnover work. I prefer to take my time with your unit and really dig into it in a way which would not be economically feasible for a storefront.

Because I offer a boutique level of service that most traditional shops don’t offer. When you bring your “baby” to me, I take my time to speak with you, understand your needs and wants and tailor a service package that makes sense for you. As a vintage audio lover, myself I understand the deep trust that goes into trusting someone with your gear and I work to honor that every day.

Yes! I purchase vintage audio equipment, any condition. I also purchase tubes. I pay fair prices in cash, drop me a line in the contact section with what you have to sell and let’s make a deal!
